benchmarking, define a process and set performance\nmeasures.<\/li><li>The\ncandidate has learned how to implement a system of measuring process\nperformance throughout the company on a daily basis. Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"box1\"><li>The\ncandidate understands the components and techniques used in managing teams and\nthe phases in the deployment of team success. <\/li><li>The\ncandidate has learned various techniques on coaching and group dynamics\nchallenges. &nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"box2\"><strong>IV: Define<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"box2\"><li>The\ncandidate is able to translate customer requirements to CTQs and collect data\nboth for continuous and quality variables. <\/li><li>The\ncandidate understands the elements in starting up a project and knows different\nmodels to start change and track these from idea to handover (DMAIC, A3,\nKaizen). &nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"box1\"><strong>V: Measure<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"box1\"><li>The\ncandidate is able to measure the CTQ for different kinds of data in order to\ndetermine the process performance in relation with the value stream. <\/li><li>The\ncandidate has learned both quantitative and qualitative techniques to determine\nthe current situation.<\/li><li>The\ncandidate has learned how to determine samples, use sampling and validate the\ndata. <\/li><li>The\ncandidate has learned to determine the variation caused by the measurement\nsystem or the attributes in this system. <\/li><li>The\ncandidate is able to determine the process performance both short term and long\nterm. <\/li><li>The\ncandidate has learned techniques to determine the process performance under\ndifferent circumstances using either black box techniques or time-weighted\ncharts. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"box2\"><strong>VI: Analyze<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"box2\"><li>The\ncandidate has learned to determine possible causes for problems and applying\ndifferent techniques in reducing the possible causes to the vital few. <\/li><li>The\ncandidate has learned how to determine correlation and regression and how to\nanalyze the variance.<\/li><li>The\ncandidate has learned several techniques to determine for different kinds of\ndata if they relate to each other (Hypothesis tests, non-parametric tests,\nChi-square tests, ANOVA etc). <\/li><li>The\ncandidate is able to to identify and interpret the 7 classic wastes and apply\ntechniques to create continuous flow. <\/li><li>The\ncandidate is able to use gap analysis tools to create a future state map.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"box1\"><strong>VII: Improve<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"box1\"><li>The\ncandidate knows how to use visual management and tools in Lean management in\norder to implement an improved process.<\/li><li>The\ncandidate knows how to use Statistical Process Control and merge this into the\nLean Daily Management.<\/li><li>The\ncandidate knows how the connect the Lean Daily Management with the strategic\ngoals and cascading them at the different levels. <\/li><li>The\ncandidate is able to define and apply design of experiments (DOE) principles,\nand distinguish among the various types of experiments.<\/li><li>The\ncandidate is able to apply various Lean tools and techniques to eliminate waste\nand reduce cycle time.<\/li><li>The\ncandidate is able to understand how to implement an improved process and how to\nanalyze and interpret risk studies (FMEA). &nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"box2\"><strong>VIII: Control<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"box2\"><li>The\ncandidate is able to apply, use, and analyze the various statistical process\ncontrol (SPC) techniques.<\/li><li>The\ncandidate is able to understand total productive maintenance (TPM) and visual\nfactory concepts.<\/li><li>The\ncandidate is able to develop control plans and use various tools to maintain\nand sustain improvements.<\/li><li>The\ncandidate understands the concept of continuous improvement and is able to\ntranslate this both to the structure and the culture of the organisation.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The\ncandidate understands the fundamentals on continuous learning and knows how to\napply them in teams. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"box1\"><strong>IX: Design For Six Sigma (DFFS) Framework and Methodologies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"box1\"><li>The\ncandidate understands how to determine the critical factors (CTx) in both\nimprovement and
